The team has over 100 years combined experience in distressed investments. AncA has actively participated in the recycling of bank debts since the Brady crisis in the late 1980s, through the Russian and Asian debt crises to the recent banking crisis in Southern Europe.
 
Anca also seeks to use its knowledge of the capital markets to offer financial solution to insurance companies as an alternative to traditional reinsurance solutions. Anca has been particularly active in Greece assisting insurance companies raise capital. These companies have faced challenging economic conditions with the crisis eroding the capital adequacy. In the last 8 years many insurance companies in Greece became insolvent and Anca has also focused its efforts on resolving the complex issues with the assets and liabilities, across all lines, of these liquidated insolvent companies.
