The experience of AncA is Global and the team is highly focused on the developing European situation, with recent emphasis on the Southern periphery of Europe, particularly Greece, Cyprus and Spain. Our knowledge of previous resolution mechanisms from bank recapitalisations, bad banks, insolvencies, run-offs, sovereign and corporate restructurings allows us to present solutions and create liquidity for owners of troubled assets.

The founding partners of AncA, Aelita Arampova and Nick Corby have experience of managing a USD 1 billion Non Performing Loan bank portfolio in Latin America and a distressed portfolio in Thailand. Nick Corby actively participated in the auctions of NPLs by Danaharta (Malaysia) and IBRA (Indonesia) during the Asian currency crisis. He has been actively involved in the distressed debt sector since the early 1980s. Aelita Arampova is Greek Soviet with an intimate knowledge of the Greek and former Soviet Union member countries’ marketplace, their institutions and their major businesses.

Frank Riess has traded Distressed Debt and EM assets throughout his 35-year career. His experience includes loan syndication, negotiations at both sovereign and corporate levels, and involvement in corporate restructurings and asset swaps while working for major international banks.
